With no real privacy protection on Twitter, I've closed down an account/brand that has taken me a year to build. I called AT&T about the 522 text messages I received in 96 hours and they offered no assistance but for me to pay to have the number blocked or pay to have the number changed. This is my business number. I did not find AT&T to be helpful at all in this area even though the representative could clearly see that the 522 text messages came from one phone number. I don't know where to go to report this stalker -- I have a domestic violence injunction, which is no good unless they can serve him. And I don't know where he lives - so the injunction is useless. And my stalker knows this. I am afraid to move offline and afraid to move forward online with my business because I feel that no one is willing to or can help me stop this person.
